This is currently where to catch the bus to tequila from in Guadalajara. Prices as of November 23 are 130 pesos one way. Station is pretty tired and not many decent food options here. Fine if you want crisps! The bus is also listed in numerous places as taking 90 minutes, but it was closer to 3 hours.

Went here around 11am to get a bus to Chapala. Pretty easy experience. Just go to the booth that has your destination and buy a ticket. They'll tell you what bay the bus will be in and at what time it departs. For Chapala we got a direct, well one stop, for ~$3 one way. Pretty smooth and quiet, air conditioned ride.

Keep your expectations low and you will be fine. Located in old part of town so it’s busy, noisy & run down. Staff keep the facilities clean enough & we had zero security issues. Bus are frequent & plentiful.

It is unfortunate that the city of Guadalajara do not do no upgrade nor remodel to make this central bus station more welcoming. The surrounding area, many homeless, including street vendors.

Easy to get bus tickets to many locations in Mexico. Please be very care in the area near the bus terminal. Theft is a major problem in the area. I did have a phone stolen out of my hand while I was getting an Uber to the airport.

Buses are clean, inexpensive and run on time. It is a challenge for a non native speaker to understand the cashiers and drivers do bring a translator or use your phone.

Second Class Bus Station. Took the bus to Chapala. There is a slow and fast one. In the evening a bit scary.
